My Local Quilt Shops
Have you tried to figure out where all of you local quilt shops are? I finally had to make a list with a few descriptions because the I was loosing track. If you live in the Houston area you will find this shops around town, I use that word very loosely. I have bolded some of my favorites that I just have to visit again and again.

Quilters Cottage 920 Fm 359 Rd Houston, Texas 77083 This one of the most darling shops in the area. They have a fabric press too which makes preparing our T-shirt quilts a cinch.

It Seams to be Sew 13134 Dairy Ashford Road Sugar Land, Texas 77478 Lana has a unique eye that helps her to bring in some true gems. I always find just a little more in this shop. They have long arm quilting machines that you can rent to use on your own quilt tops.
Quilt Around the Block 979 North Leon St. Shop 979-542-2782 The shop looks deceptive from the outside. They do have one of the biggest selection of fabrics I have had the pleasure to enjoy
Meme’s 1695 County Road 119 979-540-8162. The shops is worth the drove especially during the January and July sales. The sales are fantastic even on the last days.

Painted Pony And Quilts 1015 South Broadway Street La Porte, Texas 77571 If this shop was closer to my house I do believe I would visit every day. I love the spacious layout and great selection. I believe the have the biggest selection of batiks that I have every seen.
